Not sure which one because whenever I go over to inspect it stops Hmm .

Its kind of a hollow grunting noise. Repeated over and over again for a while and then stops....kind of like a deep seal noise Confused .

Hard to explain. Grin

They are eating hay, it kind of matches the chews iykwim not sure I do . Confused

Never heard it before, normal or not?

As I type I am starting to think its Big Pig....

If it stops, then it doesn't sound like it's choking on dry hay or anything like that?

Our GP2 does what my DD calls "SnuffleHog" when he's found something nice to eat. (It scared the BeJesus out of me the first time) He was investigated naice hay and he made a deep, grunty, greedy-pig noise in his throat (see how I avoided saying DeepThroat there Blush ).

It was a "mine mine mine" sort of sound , but not sniffly, definately grunty.

Have they got plenty of juicy vegetables to keep them hydrated (mine won't drink water)

Either that or Big Pig is making a Mating Call to Little Pig Grin

They are both well hydrated. I have been giving them a extra bit of watermelon and cucumber in the last few days because of the heat.

I had to change their water bowls for bottles in their sleeping quarters the other day because I kept finding poo in the bowls they are in a piss with me about this , I spied on them for 2 hours before the little blighters proved they knew what to do!

Mating call? Shock

Its a happy noise. OB does it alot snuffling through hay. He also does it strutting through the house on the way to the fridge Grin.

He's doing it again this morning.
Its Big Pig!

He grunted his way to his food bowl, then grunted his way back to his hay tray...and is now sat there grunting his way through some posh barn dried forage . Hmm

Its weird how its started all of a sudden. It really sounds like we have a miniature pig in the house Grin

It does sound like it's food appreciation Grin -which is lovely because while they are troughing food they are happy.

GP2 was very interested in DD's hand when she'd been eating Chilli Heatwave tortilla chips (he didn't lick her hand, just smelled it and grunted) and it's only him that I've heard doing this.
