I had soem Hush Puppy sandals really similar to that a few years ago and my (very slim and stylish) sister looked at them and asked me if I had been to the vicar shop!

No, they are not cushioned. Though they are supposed to be excellent for aching feet. In fact I got my first pair of Birkie this summer, after I had probs with my metatarsus...

ggirl, I have to say I thought the first ones were not that bad actually - shame about the cross over strap at the ankle, but hey, they look tres comfy. I would wear with skinny jeans in a heartbeat if someone bought them for me.
