lovely flowery dress

I've seen a few people wearing really light, loose cotton dresses with a large bright (maybe floral)print. Maybe with a denim jacket and flat strappy sandals.

I'd really like something similar for my holiday in late summer, but by the time I get around to buying anything it will all be coats I've looked in all of the places that I can think of.

Anyone seen anything similar in a shorter length? All the prints I have seen are small florals and I'm tall 5'9 and bigger 14-16 so small prints are not good on me/

Thanks!!

Not sure what your budget is, so these may be a bit cheap and cheerful, but Peacocks have some lovely flowery sun dresses in at the minute. I'm 5'5" and the one I tried on (was a mixture of turquoise, white and I think, pink) came to my knees.

Can't remember the price, but £14 springs to mind.

this was the one I tried on, it's actually nicer and brighter IRL than in the pic.

The only reason I didn't buy it is because I'm too chicken to show my legs off!

ooh peacocks one is nice. Dont know if we have a branch nearby tho. I saw a similar one in matalan today "-this www.matalan.co.uk/fcp/product/fashion-to-buy-online/Dresses/strappy-printed-sun-dress/13923&resultsP erPage=100&attrList=Dept,brand"but wasnt brave enough to get.

i am a bit top heavy an worried about spilling out of the top, so looking for more of a tunic sort of thing with more coverage at the top. but could do with a cardi - they are really good value.
