Nice ladies wristwatch

At 38, I am thinking of finally buying myself a nice watch. Have always worn £20 watches in the past, thought it might be time to indulge myself and buy a brand. Looking for a classic piece, that can work for office as well as weekend wear. Leather/ metal both are fine. I am afraid I cant bear to spend £3k on a wristwatch. So budget £2-300. Is that too little for a good brand? Any suggestions most gratefully appreciated.

Good lord, more than enough!

No idea what you call a good brand, but you can get a perfectly good and stylish watch for £100 in the high street places (Ernest Jones etc) IMHO.

Suggest maybe Seiko, Tissot, you MIGHT get a TAG or possibly Ebel but they are more £500+-ish.

I treated myslef to an Omega mimi constellation (£900-ish) in stainless steel after having my previous watch for 35 years . Yes, it was expensive but at my old age it is prob the last watch I will ever buy if it lasts as long as my last one.

Message- get the best youc an afford.

Good watch brands like cartier/rolex are more like £3k - I have a cartier tank and love it and intend to wear it forever.

However if you don't want to spend that much which I totally understand - I'd just go to a decent jewellers and have a good try on.

Oooh, I have been lusting after the Omega Constellations for years, I want the one with multi coloured gems in the face. Never gonna happen though!
