Well your BMI is about 26 which is just over the "healthy weight", so I guess you are ever so slightly over weight.

For point of reference, I am 5'4', 8 stone 12 and a size 8-10. You're not fat, but could lose a stone and a half and still be within a healthy weight range.

I'm 5.2 and 10 stone is too heavy for me. Although I dread to think what I am at the moment as I am 8 months pregnant and the weight has piled on!

At 10 stone I tend to be a size 14. The most comfortable weight for me is around 8 stone. However everyone has different builds I know someone the same height as me and she looks slim at 10 stone.

Hmmm.

Weight isn't relevant imo. I am an inch taller than my mum, yet my ideal weight is about 1 stone heavier than her ideal iyswim.

But, 5ft 2 and size 12 is prob too big.

How do you feel though?

You're my height exactly. I am 9 stone 4. And size 12. Although I don't feel FAT, I feel a little self-conscious sometimes. I would like to be slimmer. But if I lost just 7 pounds I'd feel really good about myself, although I wouldn't be thin. So why don't I just get on with it and lose those 7 pounds?! the six million dollar question.

ps, you are not fat but you are plump.

I am on the fence of that myself.

Slim legs, weight around tummy, you sound like you have the same build as me. In that case I would say a weight of around 8 stone would be ideal. I think pear shaped people with bigger bottoms and thighs can get away with being heavier whereas us apple shapes have to really watch the weight doesn't creep on.

Let us know how you get on, I could do with some motivational tips once I have had this baby!

I am 5ft 1 and 9st 8 and feel too heavy- I peaked at 10st around Christmas which (I personally) felt huge at.

I started running two months ago and have really loved the way its completely changing my shape- its defined my waist and my tummy is flatter.

yes 5' 6" would be nice! but people who are never appreciate it. They always want to be five 8.

At 5'2" the harsh truth is that even 7lbs over your 'fighting fit weight' can make you look a bit stout.

I couldn't get down to 8 stone now though. It would take a level of effort, willpower and exercise that is unrealistic. And I'm not lazy or greedy. But my body wants to be about 9 stone now. That's not a cop out! honestly. I am active and I don't eat loads of the wrong foods. I do not like being hungry though.

You probably chunky now, yes. But, 8 stone sounds too thin, unless you have a really slight frame.

Have you had an ED in the past? Be careful.

Calling me plump and stout is really good.I used to be very attractive.I will print tis off and put it in the kitchen.

Agree 8 stone sounds too little to me.

I have a friend who is 5ft and struggles to keep weight on - she aspires to be 8 stone but is more like 7 and she is tiny, frail looking in fact.

Sorry, meant eating disorder.

There's something here that's worrying me, I'm not sure what, can't quite put my finger on it. Hopefully it's just me

I know. Stout hurts doesn't it?! once my mum told me I looked stout. My youngest was 10 months though, and I just thought it would all fall off naturally like the first time'
