I have probably missed all the sales but I need a dress to wear out on the town and it needs to be cheap.

I have seen a few nice dresses on ASOS but am not too sure and have not bought from them before so am not sure about the sizes.

Can anyone help me?

I am 5ft 10 and either a 14/ 16 dress (depends on the shop- there soesn't seem to be a universally accepted 38in that I've found anyway) and would like a cute, shortish 80's type dress. I don't mind the colour and like patterns. I am funny about sleeves- I don't like strapless or spaghetti straps. Actually I'd rather get my pins out than my boobs so not a stupid amount of flesh up top as it were .

I don't want much do I?

Oh and when I say cheap I mean cheap- £40 max. Less ideally.

Ach folks, many, many thanks in advance.

I was really hoping that some one would have picked the ball up and run with it as it were here but obviously it's an impossible task!

Anyone know about the ASOS sizes?

Don't know about ASOS sizes I am afraid..but have you looked at Warehouse - they do alot of dresses that have that 80's vibe usually about £45.

My mate wore this out last weekend and it looked gorgeous!

Fiver over budget but tres cute

Do you like the power shoulder look?

Really like this and it's a complete bargain!

Any of those close? Will continue the search in the meantime

Thanks bunny- just bought a couple of dresses in the DP sale and himmed and hawed about that red dress and the black one- decided that the baby belly that I cannot shift no matter how hard I try would be too obvious in them. However I do love the black one so might risk it and try and add it to my order! Ta very much.
