Have been using No.7 for a while, DH bought me some Clarins for Christmas. The Clarins is much better than the No.7, but still not perfect.

My eyelashes are quite long but also v.straight so a curling one would be good.

DIB has recommended Maybellin yellow tube on the 'perky' thread - any others that are worth a look?

YSL is good for during the day for me and I like diorshow for going out. Failing that false eyelashes are amazing to try for special occassions .

Lancome do the best mascaras. Never clump and good curl if you sweep the brush up and out.

Dior Show Iconic - simply brilliant.

I adore Modelco....Lash extend is my go to, but I think they do a curling one.
Would highly recommend a heated eyelash curler for the curling though.

Clinique high impact curling mascara is really good. It stays put whatevers goes on and all you need to take it off is a warm flannel. Plus it's good for people with sensitive eyes.

I also love Benefit Badgal in plum, it makes your eye colour pop!

Blinc. They do a heated eyelash curler too (I have no clue how to use it!).

I used to always use Lancome (Hypnose) and Clinique (Naturally Glossy) but have recently been converted to Maybelline. It really is just as good and a fraction of the price. I've got the yellow one and also Great Lash which is good for a really intense black colour. I find Great Lash a bit hard to take off at the end of the day though.
I'm not sure curling mascaras work. Wouldn't you be better off using eyelash curlers first?

Lancome when I can afford it (or when I get a free sampler one!)

Maybelline Great Lash if I can't.

I have used Maybelline Great Lash for ages and fancied a change - I tried Maxfactor False Lash Effect after a recommendation on here and have to say v impressed with it.

Def agree with curling the eyelashes first though. I also read if you don't have heated eyelash curlers then just blast your hairdryer on your normal metal ones for a few seconds and then use then (just make sure you don't overheat it though - ouch!)

yup I have just been converted to Max Factor false lash

otherwise i use clinique long and pretty because there is no clumping ever (the flip side of that is that it doesn't add much in the way of volume)

blinc - just started using it - great as it doesnt smudge, and washes off very easily (you can buy online, and also order a sample to try for about £2.50) if you want ....

YSL one in the gold tube is great. Hypnose (lancome) was crap on me.

Bnefit Badgal is current fave - am on third in row. Though Lancome have consistently been excellent when I have used them.

my name is Ronald and I am addicted to mascara
I have eyes like Phil Mitchell without the stuff with tiny stubby white albino lashes

the ysl does what it says it actually seems to give a false lash effect...
ver lengthening, not clumpy, lasts really well and doesn't irritate
I've tried almost every brand and think that the YSL is still coming out with the best results even though it isn't new

Mmm, false eyelashes are so good but I am very bad at putting them on.

Another Diorshow fan here- I love the blackout one but it does smudge. Didn't like the iconic one as much so just the plain old Diorshow is the best imo.

Chanel also do one that my sister swears by!

I have very sensitive skin around my eyes so have to be very careful what I use (Dr Hauschka) so have no personal recommendations as such. However, this morning, in ZEST, I read a recommendation of Revlon's double twist - £9
