Haven't worn a pretty dress for years - now need one for two spring christenings and a summer wedding - can anybody help?

Would very much appreciate any help. We live in the middle of nowhere so an online retailer would be very useful.

I have two christenings to attend in March, one of which I am godmother at. Then a wedding in June where DH is best man. None of the guests will overlap.

We haven't had any christenings/weddings/fancy dress events for years so this is very very exciting and I would like a pretty dress rather than my normal mum uniform of jeans.

I am 5ft7 and a size 12. Would rather cover up my upper arms and tummy which are still a bit wobbly after DD3. Have fair colouring.

Pretty dress also needs to be pratical as I have 3 kids under 5 who will all be present at all 3 events - so don't want to be falling out of it whilst picking up childrern/wiping noses etc. And I don't want to freeze in February or boil in July.

Can anyone be really kind and suggest anything please? Thank you!

I just bought a Vivienne Westwood dress from my wardrobe.com. Its a khaki green colour and fairly simple, jersey material with 3/4 sleeves
It was in the sale and I love it! It depends on your budget really but something like that could be really dressed up but could see you through a few occasions.

I love these:

Can add a pash/card/jacket for the Christening and killer heel sandles and a fascinator or hat for the wedding. Am jealous now - I want that spotty dress and an ocassion to wear it to
