7 for all mankind maternity (or other jeans that stay up)

After having a discussion on another thread thought I would start a new one: where do you get 7 maternity jeans in the UK?

I am on the world's longest quest to find a pair of maternity jeans that will actually stay up (as I sit here with my bum falling out of my Seraphines, a bit chilly!). I have tried Topshop with no luck. I hear 7s are good but where do you get them???

I have ordered a pair in the Isabella O sale to try but am not holding my breath....

All I want is a pair that will stay up. I am 28 weeks and I can still wear some of my larger regular jeans (bump is very high and I puked a lot, so the rest of me is still not that big) but it is getting uncomfortable. Anyone had any success in sizing up on regular jeans and not going the maternity route at all?

I've just bought my second pair of these which I love - the stretchy grey panel keeps them up - I'm 27 weeks and got them about 6 weeks ago.

they are not 7s - should have read your post more closely! But they are great.

Good selection of jeans here.

and

here

I did have 7's and found they fell down too though.

I had more success with the slim cut ones from mamas and papas.

I got a pair of citizens of humanity maternity jeans during my first pregnancy and they are worth their weight in gold!

They look and feel great and most importantly don't fall down or go saggy around the arse.

I have been wearing them up until recently during my 3rd pregnancy.

I got them from Harvey Nichols - I used to work there and got a very good discount. They were about 195pounds 6 years ago but spread over 3 pregnancies def worth it.

I also have pairs of Juicy and Earl maternity jeans and think is really is worth spending more if you can afford it.

Have a look in HN or Selfridges at the jeans collections which also have maternity jeans. Oh and ebay might be worth a look too.

Thanks everyone! I should have come to the denizens of S and B first.

Would love to be able to try them on in advance of purchasing them, esp if I'm spending over £100....but not sure I'll get to London any time soon (am in Oxford). So it'll have to be online with a good returns policy!

Will have a hunt for Citizens of Humanity...

Traceybath, have you bought any of the Blossom range? They appear to be jeans that the Blossom people have customized themselves and I wonder how they fit?

Roary - if you are in Oxford, Bicester is fairly close, no? There used to be an Earl Jeans store there which did fab maternity jeans.

Tulpe, you might be a genius - will ring and see if they have any maternity jeans.

For designer jeans cheap check out www.koodos.com They do citizen jeans and 7s.

I too cannot rate citizen jeans highly enough. I wore the same size just after giving birth and they still looked as good when I dropped a stone and a half in baby weight - and I've had them for quite a few years.

My gap ones look good if you remain the exact same weight but crap otherwise and also give you a flat bum. The citizen ones are like wearing a wonderbra on your bum!!

Koodos if fab as jeans are about half price so citizen ones are about £99 - well worth it as I go through about 2/3 Gap ones searching for a perfect pair. You can try them on in Fenwicks/Harvey Nichols/Selfridges to work out size then order for cheaper!
