I really like it but the colours wouldn't work on me!

if you have dark colouring i think it would be fine, if you're fair it would be very mutton/lamb though.

not keen on the price though, surely you can get something in those colours that doesn't cost the price of a small secondhand car?

I'd wear it, but only with black jeans. I think it's nice, but mixing it with other colours would be a bit...intense? And agree with Tulips about the dark colouring too.

it's the sort of thing my 9 yr old would wear (at a tenth of the price)

Honestly?

I think it's awful. I don't think it would suit any adult.

Very bright certainly, but, I dunno, something that would look really cute on a little girl instead.

lol @ hello kitty

Heget could be reading my mind. Exactly what I was thinking.
I'm no fashion guru but def not for an adult.
Sorry

Good-oh, thought as much. I love the colours, price and back (I have rather a nice back, best feature!) but it's too girly.

So I will go and get my anti-winter colour fix by eating a clementine

coloured tights cheer me up in the winter

Report
sherby · 19/12/2009 19:04

tbh I quite like it, but only if you are someone who could pull it off

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 19/12/2009 19:07

that is fucking awful

unless you are 5 yrs old, on a hot summers day on holiday in The Med

DingDongMiamlaOnHigh · 19/12/2009 19:08

i'd wear it but then i haven't ever been one to worry what other people think! I'm wearing a similar styled dress/top at the moment in purple with a turquoise cardi

so i say....go for it!!

Yes but tights are still for winter... Looking at summer clothes is part of me denying the existence of the cold

I am dark....

I like it too and probably wouldn't feel odd wearing it at home in Australia, but not right for my UK self. MyAussie 'style' is much younger, more careless. Ah well. I'm not in buying-for-self mode anyway.

Thanks for making me laugh as usual AnyFucker!!

If you're in Australia you could buy it then audition for Hi5

Report
purplepeony · 19/12/2009 21:06

well how old are you?

I'd say it is fine for summer wear for someone with a lovely body and good arms and shoulders- age is not that important- it's what you look like. It could look stunning ona tanned 40 yr old, or crap on a 20 yr old depending on skin colour, weight, body shape.

But it's not a winter dress!

purplepeony · 19/12/2009 21:08

sorry- top- it looks like a dress in the main pic.

I don't like it but I can see why the colours are calling you.

I am sure I saw something orange and pink on my travels around the Canary Wharf shops last week.

I am not a fan of colour though. How would you wear it?

Report
LetThemEatCake · 19/12/2009 21:43

Blue jeans (not skinnies) or denim mini (not too mini!) flip flops. It's a shopping and coffee top.
