Has anyone tried this so called miracle product and if so, what did you think? Were the results as amazing as the company claims or just another empty marketing hype?

Thanks

Nivea works much better. If you are looking to fork out cash on good skin care, try Sisley products. Creme Collagen et Mauve is truly amazing - about 110 quid.

www.makeupalley.com has reviews of all sorts.
Not worth the £££ imo. I had a small sample pot when it first came out.

Very thick and heavy - I didn't like it.

I read in one of those review things that Atrixo handcream slopped on your face does the same thing.

Might be an urban myth though.

I always think for the hundreds of squids it costs the pot looks really cheap.

Total con, imo. A friend gave me a pot once (bless her) and it was totally unmemorable.

Gave a pot to mum as a treat for her 50th birthday. She used it once and hated it. Go to makeupalley like ggirl said - there are loads of different creams which are far superior depending on what you want/need.

sh77, do you mean the Nivea Q10? Because I'm halfway through my first pot after spending years and fortunes on other stuff, and it is brilliant!

I had a CdlM lip balm once as a gift - 35 farking quid - and it was nearly as good as my 99p tin of Vaseline but not quite...

I mean the old fashioned Nivea in the round, flat, blue container. Costs about 3 quid.

Thanks everyone. Will probably give Creme de la a miss.

I still have some Sisley products, but haven't tried the creme collagen. OH wanted to get me Creme De la Mer for Christmas, but might stick with Sisley.

I'm using all sorts at the moment, Dermalogica Cleanser, Clarins day and night cream, Sisley exfoliant. Can't say I'm very impressed with any of it.

I used to use Astral and Nivea from age 5, perhaps I should have stuck to it.

Oh and thanks Ggirl for the Make up Alley Link, I've joined, looks like a very useful resource.

I tried Creme de la mer as a treat and thought what a waste- thick and heavy and like old fashioned cold cream. Also disappointed with Eve Loom. Happy with Dermatoalgica, Lancome and most similar ranges. Favourite is Espa. But agree lots of cheaper products leave me feeling good too. So money/hype etc not a factor for purchasing (current fave is a No 7 product)

Yes, gallery true - it also reminded me of good old Ponds. Crap under foundation as makes sin look greasy.

Sisley collagen cream is a night cream but I use it as a day cream under my make up (Chanel vitalumiere - divine) and it plumps skin up and makes it look great. No other cream has worked for me in the same way. They don't do samples of it anymore and my last one is running out after 5 years of freebies and so will have to fork out 100 quid soon. Worth it though.

My sis swears by La Prarie creams but they never suited my skin as I think too chemically and fragranced.

Have you tried Bellaplex? Contains actual collagen plus some other goodie sounding stuff. Costs about £30.00.

sisley collagen is the business
eve lom to cleanse
carita serum

although eight hour cream slapped on overnight can do strangly decent things once in a while
