Hello wise and stylish ladies,

I need advice for my father; he has asked for suggestions on what to get my mum for christmas.

She is a professional laydee in her mid-50s who travels a lot for work and while she likes lovely things a expensive brands isn't really that extravagent on a day to day basis.

In the last few years he has bought her a Mulberry wheely case, Mulberry handsbags, Mulberry purse (seeing a theme?) the contents of the Jo Malone shop.

They both travel a lot for work so don't really want to spend more time in hotels. She does like jewellery though - who doesn't!

Does anyone have any sugesstions at all? I am a bit blank tbh

WHere are they? I stayed near the the Mulberry outlet shop at Shepton Mallett in the summer, it was amazing, big selection of bags at half price, maybe a trip there?

Agree on Smythson. Their jewelery cases are lovely too.

India Knight's blog has some fab Christmas present ideas

Fab ideas, I have just been perusing the Smythson and Brora sites strangely enough.

Cheappinkfizz: They are in Essex but I might offer it up as a suggestion for a weekend away.

Thanks

definitely a cashmere travelwrap - forget Brora and Smythson, get it from here - they have a reconditioning service too so can revive it to good as new after your mum has used it for a gazillion trips!

Chuck in a pair of cashmere socks from the same place and you'll be over £200, so you can get 10% off with code SHL10 at checkout (only applicable over £200)

I've got a charcoal one - heaven.
