what do you think of this skirt?

this one - I bought it today - is applique on black cord and teh shape is flattering - the waist comes quite high so skims nicely over tummy, big hips/rump and is quite slimming - a leetle long - just below knee but that's ok, just not sure it doesn't look a bit mumsy - which is what I often think of monsoon stuff, but when I keep something from there it generally ends up being a big fav

would wear with purple tights and fly black leather boots, not sure what on top...did buy sort of scoop neck top in blue but it looks quite grannyish on me when Igot it home and a bit matchy matchy - maybe black slash neck top???
