and really love their clothes - some of it way too expensive especially kids stuff. I was just wondering if anyone knows of other online retailers with similar clothes?

I discovered, for some womens clothes, you can find very similar if you look around. I really liked the plain jumpers and long sleeve t shirts and M & S do very similar colours for alot less. Not sure how the quality compares as I have not bought from boden. Also New Look do the same type of thing. As for specific, more styled things I am not sure.

Register with Boden, don't buy anything and they'll soon start pestering you with discounts!

If you email then they will send you a list of their town hall sales and you go and fight with lots of middle class ladies and get great bargains!

DH wore to work today the reefer jacket that is featured in the catalogue - was £40 at the town hall sale last week but is £195 in the catalogue!

Yes, definitely register. I did earlier this year, never bought anything and they sent me a £10 voucher which combined with 11% off, meant I got a long-sleeved top for DS for £6 incl P&P.

To be honest though, it's a nice enough top but I wouldn't want to have paid the £18 catalogue price for it. It's just a t-shirt with a penguin on.

My SIL just bought a really great hoodie for DS from Sainsbury's. Lovely and soft and snuggly. She said they had lots of good kids clothes so will have to go and check it out.

Most things I covet from Boden are available in Top Shop or M and S, I find

Buy their kids stuff used on ebay.
Joules has some similar stuff, but is equally expensive.
