Nice winter coat, under £100

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I want something smartish and warm but not too bulky - no belts or double-breastedness.

I'll probably end up with black (boring but sensible) but will entertain other colours. I always think red/purple coats look very striking.

Come and window-shop with me!

Oooh, I forgot you could get Asda clothes online!

M&S one looks like it has weird short sleeves - I need looooong sleeves if poss.

What other shops are there? Where does one buy coats? People on MN always shop in places I've never heard of and they have nice things.

ebay.

This is rather fine.

I like this too, though not ebay.

I like the Boden velvet coats too, in the subtler colours

I really like the shape of the Boden one, but am trying to limit to £100.

The Karen Millen one looks a bit shapeless, bt maybe it's just how it's hanging.

Is that the same as this one? Not so keen on the 'taupe' colour. but it looks a nice shape.

Not sure it is such a lovely coat the picture makes it look quite dull!

Which one are you talking about bodycolder?

Oh sorry I get it. I think the black must be the same one, it has the same name and exact same price. Just need to find a free delivery code so I can try it on.

I like the one from tesco, lovely colour. I have been coat shopping today at Bluewater, lost count of how many shops I went in, and came out with nothing. Went food shopping and ended up getting one from asda

That one from tesco is very nice.

I bought it and took it back because it's a bit short on the leg for me but it was lovely. Really nice colour, the purple and a nice shape.

I would say it came to just above mid thigh. Not long enough to cover the tunic tops I wear which is why it went back.

Not sure how to do links but it is on the asda website, its the black military coat £25, I love bargains me

Hmm, mid-thigh is a bit short for what I want. Maybe I should get two cheapy coats rather than one good one.

I've currently got one quote for repairing the lining of my old coat, £65!
