Other side of the fruit bowl. Bloody pears, they're all the same.

Hell yes!

My ginger hair might be more appreciated too

Well, I think high waist jeans are the way forward, and never a boot leg. Or not much of one anyway. Ankle skimming nautical type trousers seem to suit me. Which is a pita as I'm more your funky type. No denying I look good in navy side zips and a sailor top though. Bugger it.

Yes I seem to live in the same few things that look good but am bored & looking to branch out.

Don't like high waisted trousers but I really struggle to get size 8 fitting hips and 10-12 waist......

I'm a red head too! Very fed up with browns, greens & golds too.

Oh wow! Coincidence!

If one more make up counter person tells me to stick to 'autumnals'

Its all about the hips for us isn't it? Showing them off in their lean splendour. HIgh waisted flat front trews do that, but they are hard to find and often dowdy. I've gone a bit wild and bought a clingy elastic type pencil skirt to wear over leggings with a vest top or boat neck top. Suddenly I think I'm Blondie.

Absolutely nothing from Boden in the dress or coat line for me. The waist is always under my armpit. Monsoon tends to be a disaster too. The whole cinched in waist and flare skirt makes me look like Angelina Ballerina after she ate the pies. I have shot put calves into the bargain.

Shit

I have nice legs so can wear short skirts provided the fake tan is up to date.

Skirt that flare out because they are made with panels work well too. It's finding tops that are the correct length that I find very hard (partly because I'm short). I have a pair of stretch denim capri pants that are fab.

I've got a cowl neck low backed silk dress that looks good with a control thingy underneath.

I also wear gel filled bras to help hide my tummy.

I def look much better with clothes on!

Your wardrobe sounds alot nicer than mine! But I'm an 18 waist and 14 hips so I'ma whole different ball game. ball. See what I did there? Eh?

In fact, I think I am now developing a face to this red headed petite size small with good legs......harumph.

Welllll did I mention my disgusting stomach (dd2 was 10lb 6oz, I have twin tummy skin as well as no stomach muscles), no boobs (hence gel bras but only style of one brand fit, and still no cleavage), can't wear heels due to knee problems, I have loads of thick hair with ever such a slight kink so it doesn't do anything much, and I need to lose weight, at least half a stone because my arms are looking yucky. Believe me half a stone at my height is a complete dress size, possibly more.

I am an apple and have always found that i accentuate the good bits i.e. slim legs and hips, therefore trousers/jeans are best slim/skinny fit with either long sweaters or cardis that end mid thigh over, preferably, 'v' or scoop neck t-shirts (as with apples norkage is usually prominent).
For evening empire line, wrap, or (esp. if you're slim) shift dresses have always made me feel comfortable.

Oh well alright then.

Maybe we should just focus on having nice nails

but slim fit trousers don't fit around the waist that is the big problem. To get them to fit around the waist they are too big on my hips.

Don't have nice nails either, too brittle so just snap.

I do look better with dyed lashes and eyebrows though!

Ooooh another apple! Yay! Agree on wrap dresses and slim jeans. And V.

I look a beast in empire though - big arms and norks. I look a bit Boudicca meets Hatty Jakes.

Oh yes I do have nice nails (finger nails only, toes aren't brilliant)

I have worked on my feet all summer, I have soft skin, not cracking and painted nails.

I wish I had more norkage, I'm def not column shaped though.

Have you tried Cath Kitson? The denim skirts would be good, you could wear slung low to deal with waist thing. Dunno if you do the print thing, but I dig those tea dresses. My norks don't fit though

they don't do a size 8, think I am probably too short for the dresses. I'm only 5'
