Thinking ahead - I quite fancy some thick tights in some good colours, where do you buy yours?

oooh I want the answer to this question! I have a few pairs of black opaques from Walford which I love and cannot fault.

However, this season I want some nice choc brown and rich purple tights. I hate anything too nylon-y (gives me the ewww factor.....like nails down a chalkboard). Would like something perhaps either cotton or wool rich.

Also John Lewis do nice cottony thick ones 90denier or something. Wash and wash and wash.

M&S - boring I'm afraid.

I can't wait to get tights on again; I have FROZEN this summer at work.

Love Walford.I have very long legs and they're great- last for years.
I'm going to come out of my comfort zone this autumn and buy COLOURED ones- maybe blue/purple, to wear with dress/boots.
God I'm daring do at the moment- leggings and coloured tights. What next?

I got some good 70d black tights with really nice shape support top, they've lasted well and are a good fit from George at Asda £4 well spent!

M&S have some nice ones in their Autograph range.

Are Wolford really worth it? They seem hideously expensive. Are the toes strong?

Wolford absolutely are worth it, they last for ever and the toes never split! (ime)
