Don't have legs for leggings any more but like the whole dresses/tunics over trousers look and want a change from jeans as can't wear skinnies (those damn legs again).

Would these be a complete mistake?

I don't understand how they work.

If you click on "view more images" you get a better view.

Tis daft to show them all folded up, imo, though I suspect there is good reason for that...

I'd get the black, I think.

Too big not such a disaster, compared to how I look in normal ones.

Was worried about the nappy/jodhpur effect.

I'm five foot seven, size 12 top and 14 bottom.

Will they look crap?

I got Toast catalogue in the post this morning and had clocked these as being particularly weird. The description makes them sound like they would be quite baggy above the knee which would look odd with a tunic. Have you got a Toast near you? - think that you should try them on and report back.

I might just order them and send them back if crap.

I think they look interesting.

they are like the style of trousers that pakistani women (i tink) wear with those tunics (someone help), and I always like the look of those.

Try them and tell us!!

I've got lots of nice boots (well two pairs) that I can only wear with skirts.

Want something I can tuck in, without loads of fabric bunching up.

Was reduced to trying to pull pop socks over jeans yesterday, like some big stupid trouser condom.

Didn't work.

I can't wear skinny jeans either due to large thighs.
I do wear black leggings under dresses though.
I'm not tall enough to wear these, but I think as you are tall they will look OK, with a dress or tunic top.
Try them and report back
