Looks fantastic on,very "period drama" though not exactly "trendy" but It's lovely on. Thoughts on is it too old for a 34 year old tall and curvy size 16 mum. What colour and what style of top?

Ta folks

it does look very old and dated. Although you could wear a polar neck top, with some good looking boots on, and a belt on the hips.

fishie · 01/10/2008 21:40

maybe something like this but you'd need to get the same boots as in orig pic.

You may end up looking old before your time in it. Although agree could pull it off with polo nack and trendy boots. Hard to do though.

What about this

Quite different.

mmm.. old before my time. Hate that, but also hate mid length and above knee skirts cos got fat legs.

much nicer imo.... but still got a frumpy thing going on in the skirt area....

for what purpose are you wanting it? work? play?

I don't like it carries.

I want to but don't. imo the fabric/ pattern doesn't suit the style of skirt. This one wouldn't give shape to thigh/leg and looks like it might not flatter.

My friend wears this style but more cut on bias and slightly shorter- they look great.

what do you like about it?

You need to get yourself off the Pera Una website. If you have fat legs, these skirts are just going to make you look even fatter. Get yourself a nice knee0line skirt. Don't hide away!

most flattering length for everyone is just below knee, ending on the bit where your leg goes in before calf...

dress better than skirt for wedding (and easier)!

YOu'd look like a refugee...or a witch! It really is horrible IMO. Fat legs? Easy, nice A-line knee-length skirt in a stiffish fabric (eg denim) black tights and Duo boots.

Per Una always over-ruffle things imo. M&S do have some nice stuff at the mo tho so I'm sure there will be a good one for you.
