Boys' pants?

Hoping someone can help - my ds has expressed a hankering for 'proper' big boy pants ie ones with a y-front. My ma once bought him some from Gymboree in the States but they are now far too small for him. Does anyone know whether you can buy y-fronts for four-year-olds in the UK and if so, where?

Have looked but all the usual suspects ie M and S, Mothercare, woolies only seem to stock closed front briefs.

Same question! Ds and I were delighted to find Gymboree Y'fronts for him in the States this summer. But we will need more...

You could go even more proper and get button-up boxers - I've got them from Next and Sainsbury's, nice soft jersey ones.

Think buttons might be a tad beyond his capability at the moment especially as he's just started reception and I don't want to p* off his teacher!

southeastastra - agree - groovy colours - but yikes. the price - not sure I can justify eight smackers for a pair of kid's kecks! Not as if he needs pulling pants just yet ... think he will have to stick with bob the builder for the time being ...

£8 each ?

Are they definitely real Ys? I bought a set that looked like Ys from M&S, ds opened them up with great eagerness, only to find that they merely looked like Ys, without a gap at all. He was sooo disappointed.

ooh sorry, thought they might come in packs of three!
