I seem to have morphed into my Mum circa 1976

I bought a pair or cords today and they're brown.

I think I may have fell through a time portal back to the '70's as I had a Pot Noodle for my lunch.

Lol!

I had a vision of our favourite old brown sofa circa 1974 as I read your post....

OH yes, it all comes around again, doesn't it! I remember swearing (back in the early 90s, I think) that I'd never wear flared trousers, as I'd been there, done that in the 70s. But it didn't take long for me to cave in. I'm currently saying there's no way I'll buy anything tartan - any bets on how long that will last?

I've been transported back to my childhood, they make that funny noise when walking up the stairs. When I was a child they made the noise because they were flares, now it's because my thighs rub together

Wear them with a tank top and nylon shirt with unfeasibly large lapels. Go on!

Are you going to get a perm? And will your children cry when they see it?

Ooh! You need a brown/orange/purple swirly carpet and a fondue set now.

OMG perms! I have the sleekest hair possible and in the late 80's I had my hair permed like a poodle, I thought I was so cool, plus blue (bright) blue eyeliner and mascara
