How about a men's one? Or are you wildly feminine and stylish (unlike One)?

I know it's not great for a suit but Mango do 34" leg as par for the course. They do some suits but I tend to buy the trousers and then wear with a nice fluffy jumper or something for work

hmmm depends on your vital stats - are you leggy or long bodied? I find Monsoon quite good they have different trouser lengths but if you are very leggy () then maybe you need to look into getting one tailored? My sis is 6'4" and has a real nightmare getting long enough trews..

Thanks all - well, not especially feminine but not partial to men's suits, wouldn't fit right! Fancy a nice, nippy round the waist trouster suit. Legs 34" but not anywhere near 6'4, am just tall and can't seem to find much in the formal clothes department (LTS, topshop etc fine for more casual stuff)

Zara seem to do really long trousers - not sure the proportions are right in terms of their jackets but might be worth a look as prices are really good.

thanks, will check. Would ideally like really good cut though, quite formal.

You have a waist?

I find Zara too short in the body.

For work trousers I do tend to stick to Mango or Oasis Long are pretty good, so are Principles, Wallis and Coast

Mexx was brilliant but we don't have one anymore.

aah - saw sticky fingers on House of Fraser website, any good? Are they just long or do they do different trouser lenghts you opt for IFYSWIM? Will also check Coast, thanks!

yes, have a sort of waist- well I go in, but less than i did 10 yrs ago!
You know, it's great being tall - in theory. In practice, you can't get any blooody clothes to fit and are in constant dange rof looking as if you're wearing your shorter sister's handmedowns! rea;;y, I'm of those of average height, at least you're well-catered for!

Sticky Fingers nice, and decent quiality. I think they just come up long - not sure. I've a cropped pair of wool trousers from Sticky Fingers that I have worn regularly for 2 years and they still look fab!

Also have you tried Hobbs? I've not bought trousers from there but have a Merino wool wrap dress that I adore and has worn really really well.

Definitely recommend Jesire for long trousers (also at H of F) but not sure if they sell suits.

(and they have a wider choice of men)

agree with mumemma - zara trousers are really long, don't know how tall you are but i'm 5'10" and they are plenty long enough for me, also find sleeves lovely and long on their stuff too.

My sis is tall and usually has probs but she bought a nice trsr suit in Zara and had to get the trousers taken up which was a first for her!

It's nice - black and with an interesting jacket.

MOH - so true re men, and why do so many lovely tall men go for SHORT women?!! Shouldn't be allowed, they should be forced to partner with us tallies so that we can wear heels ..
Back to clothes, will check those recommendations.

bump - any other ideas pls, esp online? Really need formal suit (so not Zara etc), struggling with Coast and co as they don't list a "long" section or state how long their trousers actually are. Help !

What do you mean by 'formal'? My sisters' suit from Zara is black trousers and a short jacket with a belt. You wear it buttoned up and it has a nice collar. I worried that for her it might be too formal!

i guess i mean good quality. I'm hard on my suits and need them to be wellcut and good quality, also necessary for the tpye of job i do. Zara doesn't fit the bill for me.
