Oh come on you 'orrible lot

16 weeks to optimum (or minimum) fitness.

I used to do circuit training before having DS. I'm doing my start levels tonight to see how I improve. Been running again since new years day tho so have improved a bit since then.

Will probably be able to manage about 15 press ups in 2 mins I reackon, which is totally shite

OK MT, I'll give it a go with you. However, won't be able to make a start tonight - will try tomorrow . Have had to give up gym membership because of extreme penury so I need to do something.

Are you going to shout at me? I think it would help if you did.

BTW, MT: You're the evolutionary biol0gist, after all. It's winter. That's time to eat and lie still not run about in unflattering shorts being shouted at.

Ooooh, good point madamez.

Yes but this just proves that we aren't determined by our biology, that our sentinence and agency is just as powerful, which is another example of why the whole 'determinist' aguments are just baloney. Thank you for allowing me to make that point!

And just to clarify Madamez, I'm not an evolutionary biologist, but a Darwinian (or evolutionary) feminist; ie a feminist who is informed by evolutionary theory. Bloody hell, I will never live it down if I let that one go! And you should do it cos exercise increases tyhe libido you know...which is one reason why I shouldn't do it at all in my situation come to think of it!

I tried to do press ups last night and did do 15 in 2 mins but my wrists hurt so much, I think I'm going to have to start with girly ones

i think some of the exercises could be a bit muscle building. I think if it was mixed with a stretching programme like yoga etc it might be better.
