Now there's a challenge. Am going on a yoga weekend, ahem, having not done any yoga for several years and having had at least one child since last did yoga and would like to look not gruesome. I once had some yoga trousers which I think were called swami knickers and thought they were quite nice (not full lnegth and quite loose cut). I wait excitedly by computer clutching debit card and large bar of choc...

Are you at all tall, krabbie? Longtallsally do these , they do shrink quite nicely in a hot wash/tumble dry if you need them to (no idea what swami knickers look like mind you and suspect nothing like these but these are soggy-middled and v comfortable...)

Well I think if this was 1950 I would be tall but am not really LongTallSally tall sadly. Those look a wee bit clingy? hmmm But thanks NCognito, I might order them and give them a spin as still time to return them if I am likely to trip over them humiliatingly on yoga weekend...

Ah excellent, thank you, DNB, Sweaty Betty have a "capri" that promises to hide away my muffintop. I am going to order several pairs just in case it is true and I can wear them for non-yoga purposes. My debit card has slipped from my sweaty mitt...

Could you roll around in the garden in them before you go?

No, I've never searched for loose-fitting exercise clothes before...

Ah good plan. Or I could buy them right away and wear them constantly in the belief that they are concealing my muffintop and then they will look truly dreadful by the time yoga weekend rolls round.
I am having flashbacks now to that downward dog pose...

When you do downward dog your muffintop sort of hangs in the air in front of your nose.

And that's why I run and don't torture myself with acts of contortionism.
