I really don't

I am somewhere in the first trimester, I am on baby no 3 so this is NOT good news.

I have to wear trousers but i look pretty crappy in trousers, having stupidly short legs.

Right now I have NO waist

oh and NO money

and NO time

wtf am i going to do?

Thoughts?

Your photo, you decide what to wear, surely. Wear a frock.
I wouldn't jump around for a photo if you paid me good money.

no they are STRICT

I have to take TWO outfits so they can tell me what to wear

oh ar$e

ps there is a long, tangled, complex web as to WHY I have to have this done

Don't go-you can't afford to buy the photo's so why bother??

why do you have to wear trousers? Agree with Aloha. It's your picture, wear whatever you want to. Whatever you feel comfortable in.

I only had one outfit,so did DH,so did DC's.
they never said anything to me about 2

Excuse me, the day they pay you is the day they can tell you what to wear.

what are they going to do if you turn up in a skirt, throw you out?! You could start a thread - "I got chucked out of Venture".

No wonder all their photos look the same...

i can

they give you one free picture

they will try to get us to pay more but we will cunningly leave all forms of payment at home

i actually cannot be ar$ed with this but dp is very enthusiastic

when we did ours, they got us back a week or so later to view the photos - so leave all cards and bank details behind then! They did all they could to make us take out finance to get a great big wall canvas with our faces peering out of it. Sorry to all those who have them, but I can't think of anything worse than my own face, twice lifesize staring down off my lounge wall...

I bet you don't just walk away with the little desk top picture they give you free!
They invite you back for a viewing & show you gorgeous pictures of your children on a big screen, all done to music, and the temptation to purchase more than one picture is just too great!

Be warned - they are very expensive! A collection of 3 small pictures in 1 long frame will knock you back £800!

I have had sessions with Venture, and they never told me what to wear!

ash6605 · 08/06/2007 19:05

it is supposed to be worth £75 but it is 7x5 inch.basically,no bigger than a photo you'd take off your own camera.
the free frames are shit so you have to pay sumething like £125 to upgrade or get your own frame.

and you will be tempted cause they get you in so many different poses

why are you doing this

why don't you get a photographer to follow you for an afternoon and do loads of beautiful natural shots

there was a mn'er who did this IIRC .. her site looked lovely

venture are a total rip-off

The frame they give you for the free picture is very basic

Dump the venture session, spend the £2k saving on digital camera and new wardrobe

Free my ar**, that's what they all think

They used to provide ballons & balls for the children, but now they ask you to bring your own toys along!
