what have you in the wardrobe already?

sounds like a nice-skirt-and-cardie job

[searches memory banks]

are you a green-wearing redhead or a pink-wearing one?

Kew have some great semi-casual green dresses - saw a fab one in a magazine ad the other day but can't pin it down online.

how intersting that you divide red-heads into green and pink wearing! I wear tons of red and pink, and people often complement me saying "that shouldn;t suit you but it really does". I'm trying green too because I know it "should" suit me. and I think it does. also wear a lot of brown and neutrals

I do like that, I like the colour and I particularly like the cardi, but waists and flairy skirts really don;t work on me.

this is more me. what do you think? here . also looking at at makes me ralise how much I do love red. I get an instant "oooo" feeling when I look at it. whereas green is more "aah"

I like the jasmina dress, but, to be honest it's very similar to a Coast skirt and top I bought last summer for a much posher wedding. I am kind of using the excuse that this is a more informal wedding to get myself a new outfit that I might actually wear at other times

oh good lord

please find me an excuse not to buy it (apart from the fact that I won't fit into it for at least a year)

I've just got back from trying on virtually everything in kew - none of it suited me . I ended up in Whistles buying an outfit that I think is lovely. It's very difficult to describe -and I don;t think Whistle's has a website does it? anyway it's very dark pink silk. a shirt (well, let's face it, it's a blouse) and skirt. the seams are stiched in pale blue. both the shirt and the skirt have what could only be described as tabs on them - gives a a sort of frill effect - sounds wierd ay? looks nice though. very flattering
