Is there such a thing as a cheap but good bikini?

3 years of preg and bf-ing has left my boobs in need of substancial support but all the department store bikinis seem to be the useless triangles of fabric that only people with perky boobs can pull off.

have checked out some of the better brands but my god! the price!

are there any cheap, well fitting bikinis out there?

I bought a fabulous bikini from H&M a couple of years ago. It had flamingoes on it and was underwired. It was easily the most flattering thing I have ever worn.

But now I have DS and think H&M is no longer the place for me. I think we will both have to get ourselves to a really old fashioned department store where they sell neck to knee costumes with built in corsets

Not sure but I'll be hanging out (pardon the pun) for any advice as I need one for my hols. I think halternecks are quite good for hoiking boobs. But I may be wrong...

A lot of places, even Tesco and other big supermarkets , seem to do the separates so you can mix and match different tops and bottoms.

Also in La Redoute (I think) they had mix and match options.

oops, pressed post before I finished.

I've seen the underwired, bandeau, halterneck and very brief triangle ones there.

lol... not just me that has this problem then!

haven't seen mix and match anywhere.

am a size 10 but with big boobs so alot of the sets i see i'd need to buy 2 sets to have both a top and bottom that fit

What about getting a decent second hand one on ebay? I know you can't try them on but if you know your size it'd be ok.

Matalan do a good range of bikinis - underwired etc.

Try La Senza as well - not the cheapest but not dead expensive.

the one you've picked is gorgeous, freya are expensive but lovely.
Do you have a house of fraser store in your town? May be better to try it on tbh?
