How are the various busts/bodyshapes? eg is the size 18 4'10" or 5'10"?
Sounds really cool btw, like The Pipettes.

Unless she has very good arms, I can't think strapless is a fantastic look on a size 18.

I dont really want to go to Ebay,

its too much stress and all the dresses have to match and it will be hard to find 3 matching dresses in the right size.

plus you cant try them on!

Hello, in a similar situation myself! type in 'dessy group' to google, and on that website you can swap around tos and bottoms until you find perfect combos, not sure on the prices though. I've been cheeky and asked my two adult bridesmaids to either contribute to a more expensive dress or wear something a bit cheaper that we will buy, they know we are strapped for cash and have been really understanding!

What about having them made? Not sure how that would work out cost wise?

if your friend who has just had a baby is breast feeding she may well still be a size 18 in november. I speak from personal experience

how does she feel about wearing strapless? especailly the styles below, with thin straps = no bra
