Brazilian blow dry or Kerastese/Kerastraight?

I've had Kerastese in the past - first time I was really impressed with it, subsequent times less so. My salon has now switched to Kerastraight - largely the same, but more user friendly it seems. But have also upped their prices and would charge me £200 for my not quite shoulder length hair. Not happening!

Another salon, that I have no experience of, will do a Brazilian blow dry for £100. Never had one of these and don't know that much about them. Any advice? I can't get much info from this second salon, because their English isn't that good. (Which is also putting me off a bit - but the price is so much cheaper...)

Thank you!

Far too scared and rubbish to DIY!! This is one of the reasons why I need this treatment - I'm too crap to manage a proper blow dry!

What's the worst that can happen with a Brazilian, if it went 'wrong'?

You do need to straighten it well any bad 'kinks' will stay. However if you get your hair wet you have to re-straighten it for first 3 days so if you hate it just don't re-do and use shampoo with sodium chloride to strip it out. I was dreading it the first time but it really is soooo easy. If you can straighten your gist you can do it, just takes a while. Really. If you are super thick bush head wild hair it will dramatically change your hair for such a good price (I can get two applications from the kit)
