Marking my place! Can't believe we have steamed ahead into part 4. Either there are more winters than other shades or we are all shopping too much!

Queen What shade was the nail polish in M&S? It just takes you to an overview of all the shades. And you bought another cardigan? Shock horror, I don't believe it! How many crew neck cardies do you own?

I like that first Next link. On my list.

I fancy this green perfect shirt from Next. I have it in white and black and, for me, it is the perfect fit.

The shell top looks good too.

That shirt is lovely Pink Flamingo- how does it fit over the bust? I'm a 32E- would it gape?

Love the look of the perfect shirt PF, may look into that. My perfect white shirt is at least 10 years old from Thomas Pink (I had a friend who used to work there and she got H and I some fab discounts). It really needs replacing. I really like the trousers it's pictured with too (but not the polyester content...).

perfect it's royal purple. And yes, I own a few crew neck cardis Grin. In my defence they are worn everyday as I don't tend to wear jumpers so they all get worn.

The green in next really did look perfect. It's so rare to see emerald. There were also some pointy flats that I tried on but points just do not suit me at all.

perfect I'm a 30DD and a size 10 is just right on me. Fitted at the waist too which is good as I often find waist too big and/or too high in fitted clothes.

Hi fooogle another gamine here. I've found these gamine pinterest pages useful as a starting point:
One
Two
Three
Four
Five

Plus Polyvore
Wikihow

Like the look of the Berrylisious shade of polish on that range.

Thanks fri, being lazy what does gamine kind of translate to? Masculine? French? Neat?
I'm only self diagnosing by the way so could be a faux gamine Grin

I look at gamine as boyish (but ladylike if that makes sense), French influence, neat and fitted. I found this definition although I'm not 100% convinced on some of her outfit choices.

Marking place. Currently en vacances in Paris so will see if I can find any examples of gamine here. Grin

You're likely to be a combination of gamine plus something else. travelincolour is pure gamine so if you follow the summer thread see what styles she picks.

Yes, def not sure I am total gamine. Find it Gard to think that clothes ever just sit in one camp and wouldn't look god on all manner of folk. I'm interested in the scale thing though in terms of the style day and what proportions suit people. You ever looked at the Imogen something or other blog? Quite interesting in parts (will find link, am on phone)!

What do we think of this bag - is it wintery?

Did the style quiz linked to in part 3 and came out as a Dramatic Classic. I'd always shied away from Dramatic (sounds too Cher!) and Classic (sounds too traditional) but having googled Dramatic Classic it's definitely me - very impressed.

Explains why however hard I try I really can't 'do' the biker jacket thing. Sounds good, looks good on other people but, on me - meh.

I really struggle with casual jackets - am wearing my grey jersey blazer to death and wish I could find similar in navy, black or other winter colours.

m.gap.co.uk/product.html?dn=gp000981758001&dv=0&shopid=0&pdn=gc60582 think biker jackets still in this winter?
This one annoyingly was brassy zip etc...
Quite a few other winter things in gap I saw today.
Quite like that bag pink though I'd fill it with too much!
Just had a pretty gaminey bob I think. Not sure I love it but it was at Vidal Sassoon training place so you kinda get what you're given!
Resisted 'mac red' lippy purchase. Anyone have that one?

Funny you posted about a biker as I did! I'm not sure I can pull off biker, is that the classic bit of you?

pink I like that M and S bag, it is actually on my list of things to buy this AW (once they have a 20% off day). I have seen it in the flesh and think it is nice, definitely winter I would say, it is a dark purple / aubergine colour.

When I looked at the categories posted on a link in the last thread (not sure if that was the quiz or not) I identified with romantic and natural. Not sure what look that would translate to IRL though!

Fooogle I think biker jackets are a classic now. Which colour are you interested in? I think either the light one or the lack one would work better than the mid grey one.

My hush fuchsia maxi arrived and has gone back. It was too small, though a nice dress. The pink was lighter than I expected, I didn't compare it to our swatches though. Hush now has v low sale prices though a lot is sold out.

Lovely emerald green links.

MrPop- I am a natural romantic, I'll PM you the style notes.

Thanks Perfect. Do you have a pin board too? I looked at the notes and wonder if I do have it right as I think I am less 'girly' than natural romantic sounds.
