I got my catalogue yesterday so still looking through it but at a first glance I really like the brown / burgandy flat t-bar shoes and the navy & pewter brogues and the navy pea-coat. I also like some of the knitwear and a couple of the blouses.

I am not keen AT ALL on the retro prints on some of the dresses etc

I have just bought Lyndsey ponte dress in black - have been looking for a decent-weight dress in natural fibres (not wool) - this one is cotton but a lovely weight - good for winter centrally-heated office I think - it arrived today and I am delighted. (Would prob look even better on someone with less boobage than me but am still very pleased.)

I loved the Lois Skirt in yellow,
the Millie skirt in blue and the
Maisy dress in blue -

but this year I have promised myself that I am only going to buy black and pink - doing the "capsule wardrobe" thing (for work at any rate) and only need a couple of things.

Does that equal 'love', 'like' or?

I ordered the johnnie b Scarlett cardigan in leopard. Great quality and flattering for me (apple shaped no waist big boobs) but the colours (beige, bright pink, bright blue) didn't work for me. Would be lovely on a very dark or very blonde person though.

Also ordered some trousers for two year old DS. Not great quality and they arrived all scrunched up with crinkled wrapping sort of tied together. Just like they'd been sent straight out again after being returned. Just surprised as unusual for Boden.

Rabbit slippers for DD lovely.

Wow, the Lois skirt + suggested outfit is so barbara woodhouse! and the tall thin young blonde model looks good in it but if i ordered that get up I would have every dog from lands end to john o groats following me, but ne'er a man.

daft how stretchy/ forgiving is the fabric on that Ponte dress?

polyhymnia it's got quite a bit of "give" in it but not infinitely stretchy.

Chanel yes, the suggested look for the Lois skirt (complete with matchy-matchy wellies) is not one I would personally go for, but I think the yellow version would be very fine with a black cashmere poloneck, black tights and boots.
