Sandals for 7 yr old dd which don't hurt her feet?

Can anyone recommend any which are good for walking and won't hurt her feet? Every pair of sandals we have tried on - and it felt like she tried on all the sandals in John Lewis and Marks and Spencer - have hurt her somewhere on her feet. TIA

They're unpopular but we always go for Crocs. Never had a problem. Also if you get her feet measured at Clarks or any other good child's shoe shop, any shoes you buy shouldn't rub.

Active sandals might be worth trying (various places have them) because the straps are adjustable at both heel and toe and some makes have soft padding.

Or Crocs. They have a sandal style called Huarache and it's much softer than jellies.

My DD has had merrell in the past- v comfortable, and karrimor, also v comfortable. SHe has extremely high arches/instep.

You can get them at a reasonable price from sports direct, rather than an outdoor shop.

yep crocs.

my dd has to wear socks most of the time with other sandals as this stops 'rubs' but can go sockless with crocs.

Saltwater sandals are the only ones that DD can tolerate. Bit nicer than crocs too.

We have had a big problem with blisters the last few summers - even with crocs. Someone recommended clarks sandals and they do seem to be softer at the edges. And Compeed plasters are essential.

I have a super sensitive child who will only wear crocs or Keens. Both are brilliant imo, they can go through the washing machine, dry quickly and don't rub anywhere!
