Where to buy beach bags, towels and kids wash bags?

I don't go shopping much, but went yesterday to a city centre to try and find some things for our holiday. Totally failed! I tried the usual places....m and s, house of Fraser, boots etc

So, I'm going to try online. Any tips for where to find the following items - reasonable quality and price I.e. I'd like them to last for a a good few years worth of holidays.

Beach bag
Beach towels
Childrens wash bags

Need to get back in touch with the world of shopping!

Thanks

I got beach towels at the White Co in desperation a few yrs ago as everything was gone by the sales. Fantastic quality so no regrets but if you are going somewhere outside UK you'll get them in locally with no trouble.

www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_308005250991_-1 - I got towels like these and they are thick and good quality (and half price!)

Primark has decent quality beach towels. they were £4.90 last time I was in there as they were on sale and I think the normal price is around £6

Our best and oldest beach towel was a gift from John Lewis. All the others we got at shops near various beaches! I'd get beach bags, towels, wash bags, and any other beach paraphernalia from shops by the beach.

Supermarkets (Sainsbury's, Asda) sell them all cheaply if you want to buy before you set off.

I'd go to Primark. I bought a lovely grey and neon yellow striped cotton beach bag the other day, which is lovely for £4. Nice towels too (although they possibly aren't as plush as more expensive ones).

The best beach bag I've ever bought is from the old bag company - decent size, plenty of pockets etc

Thanks, had a look and lots of the good ones are sold out. M and S has some nice kids one.

Good tip on the White Company - have some vouchers for there too. At this rate our beach bag will be one of those big Ikea shoppers though Wink

Where are you off on hols? If France or Spain check online whether you'll be near a Carrefour as they have this stuff at low prices but very good quality. The supermarket sized Carrefours will all have them so you don't have to go round the huge hypermarket.

We're going to France, and driving from the ferry so likely to pass a Carrefour or two. I'll look there, thanks. Is it obvious we haven't been abroad for a few years... Smile

Boden has a beach bag in three different colours in its clearance section

www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Clearance/Womens-Accessories/Bags-Wallets/AM203/Womens-St-Ives-Beach-Bag.html?NavGroupID=1

Nothing wrong with an Ikea bag Smile

I got the whole lot from Primark, very cheap and cheerful, but I tend not to spend too much on stuff like this.
Not sure how they'll last but have just done their second holiday and beach towel has been used for swimming, beach in Uk, picnics etc.
