Am I missing out on some gorgeous fragrances by not ever choosing celebrity perfumes? It's just never occurred to me to buy them.

Any recommendations?

Apparently the Sam Faiers one is very similar to Prada Candy.

I used to wear the Britney Spears Curious perfume - it was very nice.

I wear Lovely and still wear JLO Glow, I love it.

I give DDs friend a lift to school and she always smells really nice, it was a Britney Spears perfume she wore.

Another SJP Lovely fan here. Usually on offer, great silage, gets compliments, feels fresh and feminine.

Never seen the Sam Faiers one.

Yup, JLo Glow (the original one) is great - it smells really ^clean6.
I often recommend it on here when someone say they don't want a perfume-perfume, they just want a clean-smelling scent. Someone usually snarks.

Yes, I lower my voice a bit too whenever someone asks me what perfume I'm wearing. It's as though wearing a celeb perfume is as shocking as admitting you're a big Gary Glitter fan.

NB Sam Faiers 'La Bella' is the best-selling sleb perfume 0f 2014 in The Fragrance Shop - not of all scents, and not everywhere.

There is definitely probably some demographic stuff at play there - ie the typical Fragrance Shop shopper is more likely than a Boots shopper to watch TOWIE...

I bet Victoria Beckham is annoyed that her and David's perfume line is seen as quite cheap and tacky. If she'd released it after she'd become a fashion A Lister it would be considered much more desirable.

But I suppose, who knew she would become such a big hitter in the fashion world.

The Coleen Rooney one which smells of parma violets is kind of ok too. My teenage students wear it and it's not unpleasant.

Love JLo Glow - some of my friends hate it but I have loved it since it came out when I was in school gives age away but that's the only one I've ever had.

I've just text my friend who works for Boots and she said they stopped stocking Lovely ages ago even though it sold well. Strange!
