HELP! fake lash nightmare - looks like I've tightlined with Pritt stick….,

I used to regularly visit a salon for fake lashes. The woman who did them was brilliant, plus it was super cheap. But, I moved further away, and she upped countries...
But I was in that town today and decided to go in…. new lady, price gone up but still cheap…
Chose the usual lashes I have, asked for the extras strong glue as usual….

Completed one eye, no problem. She was just finishing off the second and I started watering and blinking like crazy, I think some glue had got in. The glue is very strong and dries v quickly. A mixture of my tears and the glue, partially stuck the entire fake lash line to the skin (i.e. skin above eyelid). She prised it apart but , the lashes had dried!!!
I now have an angry tidal wave standing up like a stiff fan, one on eye! It looks like my lashes are trying to curl themselves up over my forehead. It's so bad that my inner bit (the bit under the top lashes that you would tight line, if that is your thing) is all exposed!
It's like that horrible scene in Clockwork Orange like my eyes are being forced open
And of course, my eyes don't match!
but not just that…. it looks like i've tight lined with Pritt Stick or bird poo the glue is quite white ish in places (i will try and do an eyeball selfie later and post it) and thick / clumpy. very very visible
What the chuff do I do??!
Try some micellar water on a cotton bud to ease some glue off? but I don't really want to lose the glue. (or any lashes). I just want it to not show. Should I try and cover it up with my usual waterproof mascara (or use a thin eyeliner brush dipped in mascara). (Nothing else would stay put on me, I can't do regular tight lining, Im extremely watery, though fake lashes applied in salon always last well on me as the glue is waterproof)
And as for the lashes.. do I wait and hope they drop? Do i trim them so they are level with the other eye?! Or get DP to make some tiny lash hanging weights in his workshop Grin
I will borrow another Mumsnetter's word from an older thread as it made me laugh so much…. I look like a weeping camel. Am STARTLED weeping camel. But only one eye startled . Oh and they're not the natural lashes either , which doesn't help! Long and full.
I can see (umm literally! without mirror!) the funny side
I cannot go back to the salon
Every time I look in the mirror, I see the part of the inside of one lower eyelid!
and it gives a bit of a Patrick Moore impression too

yes she let me leave like that…. i did have a shock when looked in mirror but was still so weepy I couldn't see THAT clearly…. I did say, that they had dried funny 'and very upright' yes so you can actually see internally (to be honest, she was in a panic re her next client, who had turned up 20 mins late but hadn't expected me to take her appointment (so 20 mins was all it took for her to fit in my gravity defying effect) and the late entitled client was kicking off….
honestly thought they'd have drooped (like my hair) on the long hot journey home, but no….

I think you need to go back and get them sorted. You don't want to damage your actual eyelashes.

I'd take a picture and go back and ask for them removing and putting back on,properly.

the outer lashes on the offending eye are applied at the top of my normal lashes rather than the root! so I have a bulb of glue and they are extra long. just tried dissolving some of the glue with micellar water.
I know she was rushing and panicking because her client turned up 20 mins late and was moaning to be seen and she (salon woman) said she couldnt say anything as the woman was a regular (but so am I!) . She got flustered as assistant kept knocking on the door saying client was now here. She was late. but trying to do my eyes in a 20 min slot , too quick

Wouldn't an oil-based makeup remover be able to dissolve the glue?

I have no clue about the glue and lashes you're wearing, but maybe you can buy some glue, such as Duo or the Revlon lash glue (I've used this and I really liked it) and put the lashes on properly yourself?

If they are strip lashes, then this guide may help you apply them if you decide to give it a go: www.lisaeldridge.com/video/2009/full-strip-fake-lashes/#.U8_RQbEuLKc

thanks for advice Carpaccio
Might have to especially those outer freaky ones
What i could really do with is dark coloured glue
My current fakes are clusters and not strips
I do have some boxes of strips and clusters but whenever I've tried it's been disastrous, how do you stop the glue sticking to the tweezers or fingers? i put them in place and then they come away on tweezers or fingers! yes will watch that clip thanks

Duo do a dark glue I think, I've seen a couple of brands that do in Sally's beauty
