I am quite excited. Just waiting for my boots delivery then gonna do it later. Shall I leave the socks on for the hour?

I would love to try it, but seems a bit expensive. I'm sure I'll be tempted before long. Good luck!

I did it, with impressive results - yes, leave the socks on for an hour - and don't expect results for a few days, then all of a sudden, the bottom of your foot falls off!

Sooo jealous, love the footner experience Blush Have done it twice before, had ok results with leaving the socks on for an hour but had sooooo much better results with leaving them on for 2hrs [mankyfeet] Also sitting with your feet in warm water for the next few nights really speeds up the grossness result! Enjoying the pickings Blush

You'll have new feet in a weeks time! In the meantime, be prepared for lots of dead skin peeling of gradually over the coming week. Not a good look at first and strongly advise hiding them from the general public. Well worth it in the end.

OK have googled it now - looks amazing as my feet are so manky!!

However it says that you can't have nail polish on, would that be the same for shellac nails??

I did mine recently. Absolutely amazing. Nothing happened for a few days and so I soaked my feet and then literally all my skin just fell off! 2 weeks on, they're getting a few hard areas again, so I'm going to do it again soon but leave on for 2 hours and soak feet every night. You'll be amazed though at how soft your feet are!

I love Footner, one of the best recommendations off here.

Did it last year and my feet are still looking good although they could do with another do now. Saving it for before I go on my holiday at the end of Summer.

Does anyone know if it can ruin Shellac/gel nails??

Am desperate to try this so might wait until the night before I am due to have my nails re-done and then if it does ruin it, it doesn't matter.

Am I also right in assuming that you can't wear sandals/flip flops whilst it is peeling for fear of leaving a trail of skin everywhere??

I don't know properly but it is very strong so I'd suspect it would have the same effect on shellac etc as it does in ordinary varnish.

Your feet will peel a lot so look pretty grim for a few days. I didn't shed skin everywhere as I soaked my feet each night and it came off then but I wouldn't have wanted my feet in display whilst the skin was peeling.

It had no effect on my nail polish.

I had nail polish on when I did it and it is still on now so no effect so far. Also no peelage yet.

U wait! U won't believe it when it comes off. It's not just a bit of light peeling. U could make another foot from it!!!! Soak your feet to hurry it along.

I don't have a bath so I might do a bowl of hot water now.

I've never heard of this!

Must give it a go ASAP.

So I ended up in boots today and purchased this Grin. Have just taken the socks off now.

When you all say you speak your feet every night, do you wait until the peeling starts and then do it or do you do it from the night after you have used the socks?

Report
Coumarin · 08/06/2014 20:56

I did it from night one Skeleton Seemed to hurry the process along although I was Hmm when nothing had happened by day 4. Then I woke up the next morning with zombie feet Grin.

Thanks. I soaked them after I took the socks off so will do it every night. Just need to time my yoga classes this week as I don't want to leave a trail of dead skin around my mat Wink

I've been gifted the socks from my SIL today (she won them in a raffle Grin) or maybe she's just trying to tell me something do you all apply vaseline to the top of your foot or do you not bother?

Report
WillowMoo · 08/06/2014 21:31

Never even thought of vaseline-ing before but never really needed to as the top of my feet were ok

Report
FoxyHarlow123 · 08/06/2014 22:10

The top of my feet peeled like crazy. If you can hide your feet away for a while, I wouldn't bother with Vaseline but if they're on show, yes, I'd apply it first.
