I'm thinking of treating myself to this citizens water resistant eco drive watch. Please has anyone had one of these , are they any good. Also would it be nice for daily and going out when dressed up

I've got a Citizen Eco Drive waterproof watch, it's been absolutely fine. I've had it a few years, wear it every day and not had a problem.

That is a nice watch you've linked too, I'd check Watch hut, though they are often cheaper.

Ooh thanks Iam do you wear even in the shower or bath and while washing up etc. the main thing that I'm wanting is that I won't need to take on and off all the time

I've got an Eco-drive, not the same as this one and not water resistant as far as I know, I take it off to shower and swim and don't dunk in as far as my wrists when washing up. Ij've had it for several years, worn every day it still looks as good as new and the time keeping is absolutely spot on.

I have one that is almost identical to the one you linked, the 'glass' covering is made from lab made sapphire as it is harder and less likely to scratch. I love mine, was from my dp last year for my 40th, goes with all of my clothes, quite understated as fairly small and very thin. The mother of pearl is really very pretty and delicate in colour.

This is my second Eco drive watch, my old one still goes fine, I have had that one for about 6 years. Would recommend this make every time.

Thanks for all the positive comments, I have ordered this model now. So looking forward to it arriving , I think it will be great not worrying about getting wet or the battery running out Smile

I had a look at the back of mine last night, apparently it is water resistant and I never knew. Even better!

Check with the company with regard to water resistant. I was always led to believe that water resistant is not waterproof so you should not immerse it in water totally. Also water resistant is really just splash proof. I may be wrong so would love to know if you find out.

Agree, I definitely won't be swimming in mine. My old watch had some sort of rating with the water resistant mark on the back, I think there is a scale of water resistance and some are more resistant than others. My Citizen doesn't have any figures with it, just the words Water Resist, so probably only splashproof.
