Could someone very pale look as sunkissed as this?

Ok, I know no cosmetics are going to make me look like Giselle, but I have this magazine on my kitchen table and I keep looking longingly at her golden complexion. It inspired me to root around for my Guerlain bronzer which even though it's the palest shade did make an improvement to my milk bottle pallor

What are your favourite products to make you look as if you've just come back from the Bahamas?

Maybe its my crappy phone, but to me she looks like her bronzer/make-up is too dark. She looks a bit dirty.
I struggle with bronzers cos I'm so pale. The guerlain one is ok, but I think my favourite is rimmel sun. It's pale with no sparkles.

I second the Clarins cream. I'm fair too and it's the only product that gives me the perfect sun kissed glow.

Clarins for me, too. It turns me the colour that my skin actually tans to.

I think that someone very pale is always going to look like they've worn self-tan - it's never going to look natural.

I'm very pale, lots of freckles and dark hair.

I never, ever use bronzer or anything because it looks so obvious and awful. Peaches and cream all the way here Wink

I am very pale and use Lancome Flash bronzer. It gives me a really healthy glow and you can use as little or as much as you feel you need. I feel naked without it.

I can get that kind of look colour with Decleor self tanning milk (it's actually a pretty thick, moisturising cream) and a generous swipe or three of Nars Laguna.

I do get what previous posters have meant re some products giving an unnatural look. God knows, I've had a more than a few oompa loompa moments in the past.

So, take it from me the Clarin mousse is the dog bollocks for those that are fair of face.

Salonskincare is the cheapest I've found online ÂŁ19.99 with free delivery and as I put my money where my mouth is I ordered some today.

I do favour the porcelain look over winter but I feel spring is around the corner so will be ready for when the sun comes out.
I always wear a high factor on my face so hence the need for a bit of a faked glow comr summer.

Nope. Unless you tan like that naturally you will never achieve a similar look with cosmetics.

Ferrous Fumarate is all that works for me!

It doesn't go anywhere near as dark as Fake Bake etc. I would use the fantastically cheap as chips St Moritz on my body at this time of year. It doesn't go dark, just gives a subtle glow. I only use the Clarins on my face and neck as it is expensive.

I've never tried mixing it with moisturizer tbh. Why not put it on for a couple of hours and see what you think of the colour then?

Will the clarins make me look silly? I'm ginger but would quite like the 'glowy' effect.

Ooh fab, thanks Kaumana I'll have a look Smile

Although I enjoy the pale and interesting look, sometimes I would like to look a bit sun kissed and shimmery.
