Do you...

  • love fashion (high and low end), style, beauty?
  • spend way more time than is healthy for anyone thinking about the contents of your wardrobe?
  • wish you had the nerve to apply for Mastermind with your specialist subject being the history of H&M collaborations?

If so come and chat! Hugs and kisses allowed

Continuing on from here
Back later when I'm being more glamorous than I am now (currently cooking eggs on toast for DS) - so showbiz I know!

Thanks liberty. It wasn't intended to sound as insensitive as it did. Note to self: read posts before posting!

Anyway back to s&b. I'm not sure that h&m collabs would be my specialist subject. I'm thinking maybe kate moss outfits instead? Talking of Kate, she's having her 40th on Richard Bransons private island. That means no outfit photos Sad

Thank you Liberty, you're a star.

KM stealing my thunder too Because. Blinking private island, damn.

It's awful isn't it when you type something then it hits you like a bolt of lightening. I'm so glad everyone is happy and together in spirit to post it out.

My designer to Oscars question was a bit lame wasn't it?

Marsha I missed your question, what was it?

Report
MarshaBrady · 13/01/2014 19:00

Which designer would you choose for a Golden Globe dress?

But firstly, because it's easier which designer would you choose if you were a man for the suit? I'd go for Tom Ford.

Report
BecauseIsaidS0 · 13/01/2014 19:04

Tom Ford whether I was a man or a woman!

As a woman, as well...Armani Prive. Or Alexander McQueen.

Report
LinusDKD · 13/01/2014 19:04

If I was a man I would go for Tom Ford as well or maybe Armani.

I do like Elie Saab for full on glamour. He has some emerald coloured dresses that are to die for.

Report
QueenCadbury · 13/01/2014 19:54

Elie Saab definitely. My fantasy board is full of his dresses.

For men I haven't a clue!

For my fantasy night at the Oscars Oscar de la Renta or something like this Herve Leger

Note we are talking about Oscars 2015 right??? No chance of losing enough weight in time for this years Grin

Love your 10k thread Lib, great links on there!

I have to thank Amber for today's outfit, it's my cowl neck dress from me+em. Looks great and is sooo warm! All for a bargain £49! I wore it with my RB suede courts, PS13 and wempe aquamarine and diamond cocktail ring. I got a compliment on the PS13 from this trendy young thing at the gym. She said "great bag is it from river island?" It was easier to say yes. Grin

Right, I'm back. Thanks for lovely messages (especially lurkers) - onwards and upwards, I promise not to steal any of your husbands!

Golden globe dress would have to be Balenciaga.

novice, glad you like it - those dresses are so easy to wear.
