Not my thing at all, no. I'm shocked it's from a trendy shop as it looks rather frumpy and dated to me Confused

Ah crap at everywhere

I think burberry or sim has a heart print, blokes too, VB wore one, the print didnt match at the button front, poorly made

That heart dress I would wear if diff colourway

Maybe it's meant to look 80s then? Hmm. I was a small child in the 80s so wasn't paying attention to the fashion. The dress does get bad reviews...

I LOVE it...if burgundy suits you go for it!

I knew it would be that dress before I even clicked the link. I love it. But its 100% polyester, which isn't so nice.

Also, what's wrong with burgundy? I love burgundy! Grin

Loving the 'Savannah is 5' 10" and wears a size 10'. I am 5' 10" and do not.

it's horrible.

Really frumpy and dated. It's an off shape too, lloks very 80's round the shoulders

ThePuffyShirt · 30/09/2013 13:22

It's really very horrid, sorry.

Yes 100% polyester for £55...it would have to be very nice on!

They have a £45 in a similar colour that is viscose, and its a far nicer shape too...

It has weird sleeve zips that I hadn't noticed. I knew it would divide opinions, but thought it would be the massive hearts everyone hated Grin

Do you mean this one treaclesoda? It's okay, but print is too busy for me.

If you like burgundy then this one is cheaper and also no polyester. here

Seems I'm in the minority, but I did like the first one, because I love burgundy I suppose! But I wouldn't buy a polyester dress because personally it would just make me all sweaty and horrible. Although I might be particularly stinky...

I really like it!

I'm sure you're not stinky treacle! I do try to avoid it normally, but one of my favourite ever dresses is polyester and causes no problems - it's also lasted aaages and never fades or creases or wears (I guess polyester is not exactly biodegradable and the dress will outlive us all.)

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid

I don't like it because the pattern doesn't line up on the pockets. This is always a sign of a cheaply made garment, so regardless of colour, shape and material, the shoddy attention to pattern details means I'm out.

When I read your title I was thinking "hearty soup" and wondered how a dress could be hearty.

I don't like the shape. I do like burgundy.

Gosh. One of the great things about getting old is that I have absolutely no idea whatsoever about what is fashionable or not. I think it's quite a nice dress. If it suits you, go for it. Also, as someone old enough to remember, I don't think the neckline is particularly 80s. (And for anyone under the age of 35, I am happy to confirm the 80s were a spectacularly awful decade for fashion. )
