Nice. Love the sleeves; less fond of the buttons but if you are not too norky they should be fine.

I like it but it would worry me, being a jacket with woollen sleeves, it might go bobbly v quickly

short is good for me as i am 5ft 2 (nearly)
good point about the sleeves , hate it when anything goes bobbly

Garments go bobbly in the wash, more than simply by wearing. And this is an outdoor garment, so won't be washed very frequently. I wouldn't worry too much about that.
