Help me find the elusive black or dark brown boots!

I'd really like some flat knee length boots in either black or dark brown. Problem is I've got chunky calves. I love the fly boots but they don't fit. Looked at duo boots but none of them have the sole I'm after which is a rubber tread for those icy days. I'll pay up to £150. Any ideas?

Do you like these from Clarks....come in this brown or they do a black. Suede boots.

I've just bought these in oxblood - a deep rich browny colour - and they are beautiful for £99 (although I got them 20% off). The colour is so gorgeous that I've bought the Chelsea boot too in the same colour. They have stretch calve thingies. They don't have the rubber tread I'm afraid though.

I do really like the m& s ones but would like some with a more substantial sole.

Have you looked online at marisota, Simply be, Fiftyplus.

Softinos Ida boots are marvellous. They have an extremely flexible sole and are grippy. They are fleeced lined too. Perfect if you want casual boots that you don't know are on your feet because they are so light. They fit a wide calf too as they are very generously cut. here

Art company boots are great too. I had this pair and they are wide with a further adjustable section at the top. Grippy rubber soles.

Practicality- Love both those boots. Neither in my size which is an 8.

Looked at marisota wasn't inspired thought looked quite cheap, wasn't really what I'm looking for.

I've seen the scholl fold but can't find dimensions.

Do you like these:

I can't do a clicky link from my phone, but I bought them last year and they were amazing in all weathers and really comfy.

They do have stores - we have one in Leeds. I wish they did them in black.

I've found them online in the USA. I've emailed and asked for shipping rates.
