Autumn/Winter wish list

Yes, yes I know its July but all the winter stuff is going to be hitting the shops soon so what do you desire?

I want the following:

  • a bright coat for winter - this is my current favourite massimo
  • some distressed jeans
  • a fur/shearling gilet - I want one of these every year and have never found one that doesn't make me look like a womble. But its my holy grail.
  • some black ankle boots that I can wear with dresses for everyday. Something like the Rag & Bone harrow boots but a lot cheaper.

So anyone else?

I want some slightly victoriana/steampunk lace up kneeboots, and a high necked, fitted black military coat. More black skinnies from primarni.

I would love a fur gilet too.
Charcoal tweed wool shorts
Miniskirt - poss leather
Boots - either mid length black with buckles or embellished tan ankle boots, depends what's around
Maybe some slightly cropped skinny trousers, navy or grey, in a subtle brocade or tweed
A grey or black bag

I need to go and look at the skinnies in primark, I know lots of people on here rate them. Housewife - love the sound of your boots too!

Foxy - nice wants. What type of bag are you after? Saw Alex Gerrard in the DM with a grey birkin which was rather lovely and obviously I'm sure very cheap Wink

Tops for work. I am not sure what but I have some nice three quarter length trousers to wear with heeled ankle boots so looking for the top half. If anyone has suggestions I'd like to hear them! I have a jersey blazer that works for one outfit but I would like a couple more.

I would love a grey leather bag. But not seen anything.

I'm pregnant and guessing I'll have a big bump so a few maternity bits and some accessories.

Maternity Parka
Breton and plain maternity tops
A few basic maternity dresses for work that can be worn with tights/leggings and boots
Black flat biker boots with black studs
Very oversized leopard print scarf - any ideas anyone?

Lovely things!

Which bag Santa? And which dvf sweater?

Fools - Lily & Lionel do lovely scarves - the outnet also have animal print scarves sometimes so worth looking there. Or you could get the standard mn scarf Wink

Crutchlow - whistles have done some lovely jersey blazers recently and also gap.

Just posted mine on the other thread but hey ho...
More black ankle boots
The perfect grey jumper
A grey silk shirt
A grey cropped jacket of some sort
A navy printed silk mini dress of some sort, or maybe grey, or maybe red
Another Whistles skirt

MrsCampbellBlack · 30/07/2013 18:30

Remus - I know you're not a fan of buying online but you should keep an eye on purecollection for good silk shirts.

I'd love a silk dress too - was quite a nice one in oasis but the fit was dreadful on me.

I fancy the black dress you pinned recently - the one for thick waists

MrsCB - I have a shearling gilet from Brora a few years ago which is lovely but was £££. I guess you don't want one that is too long as you is only little.

foolssilver · 30/07/2013 18:59

mrscb - how about an ostrich feathery type gilet? I also struggled to find a fur one I liked but got a lovely feathery one from Never Fully Dressed.

I'm on a spending ban so shouldn't get any of this but I'm hoping my DH will take pity on me:

Kenzo grey tiger sweater
Olivia Burton watch
Snake print shirt
Boden leopard pointy flats
A peplum jumper
Chelsea boots

And the thing I'm on a spending ban for; a really nice handbag, type as yet undecided.

MrsCampbellBlack · 30/07/2013 19:11

Yes, think the brora one would be a tad too long.

I do quite fancy a feather one. Extensive trying on, suggests ones which have a fabric back may be best.

Your DH will do very well if he gets you all those things Amber Wink

A silk blouse: perhaps I'll check out Pure Collection MrsCB. Do they come up small enough?

Am sure they'll be more!

Blue [hi] Smile the pure collection shirts are fairly slim cut and good for everyday, especially if you get 25% off with one of their frequent codes.

I'd really like a grey gilet, I did pin a nice one but it was £££

Foxy - I often stroke the balenciagas in HN but they are so expensive. But then all designer bags are crazy prices now

Hi MrsCB! First time I've been back posting on MN for ages but I always like your threads. Might try the Pure ones then, thanks. I like Whistles ones but they drown me, soo long. I repinned that gorgeous grey gilet and love it but can't afford it, sadly. But a friend of mine found it in black for £84 in the sale, was v jealous.

Report
MrsCampbellBlack · 30/07/2013 20:18

Oh I am so jealous re. your friend.

What has happened to Whistles sizing - I tried a size 6 maya dress the other day - honestly I looked like I was 5 trying on my mum's frock. Crazy sizing and they cut very oddly now too.

I don't think Equipment would work for you tinies either - I wear an XS and I'm like a hippo next to blue!
