Boden sale- prices have gone up

I'd looked at a few things in the Boden sale yesterday & when I've gone to order them tonight the bloody prices have gone up! A dress I had looked at is now £77 instead of £44!!
Is this what they normally do?

I haven't seen that but I would not be surprised.

The sale ended on Sunday night I'm afraid. A lot of stuff is still reduced in Clearance, but not necessarily to Sale levels.

Ok, just me being bit naive then! I'd presumed the 70%off would stay for a bit longer. Well, I'll keep my credit card in my purse then! Grin

I noticed that too but phoned to check the price of a pair of girls jeans and they quoted the lower price. So worth checking by phone. Might there be errors on their site?

I think there was maybe an extra % off the sale stuff the other day, which finished.

I got quite a shock when I logged on to buy a shirt I'd been after. Gone by nearly a tenner! Not buying it now. I'm a Boden newbie, so am still learning how they operate. I do know never to pay full price, to wait for free shipping and returns offers and to keep checking site daily.

That's quite odd and you need to phone them- have never ever seen prices go up after a sale.

The sale didn't end Sunday- this morning anyway the new AW site was not up, and sale was continuing.

Preview discount ended Sunday, but not the sale.

Anyone have a discount code better than 10% by any chance?

I have been ordering from the Boden sale for years and years and have never seen the prices go up before, is most odd.

I ordered a few bits yesterday morning before the AW went live, and by afternoon all but one had gone up in price.

Me too- so just had a look.

the AW stock is now on the main site- must have been this morning.

There is some sale stuff that is more £££! But it seems to depend on the colour and size. eg I was looking ( during sale) at a shift dress that was £71 and a bit, in navy, but was £41-ish in a different colour. Now all the colours are £71-ish.

Yes I ordered white top that was £20.90 (i think) when all the others were £34.50, now all colours including white are £34.50 Confused

Get in touch with them and say you want to buy at discounted price, they are usually good at honouring.

I think they are fed up with everyone waiting for sales and are trying to 'reeducate' their customer base. Seems a strange strategy for a business which has already peaked, but hey if their marketing guys think it will work......

Yep they have. I ordered some stuff for the dd's last week, got a dress for £6, went on today to get another and it is now £12, also got shorts for them and again doubled in price...madness.

Yes, wish they'd settle down a bit on the marketing front. Last year it was all those endless peek a boo trails for the sale that never started; and this year the thing appears to have come quickly to an unusually abrupt end. Tried clicking on the rather oblique 'final countdown' flashes on the sale home page, but nothing popped-up by way of explanation.

In terms of re-educating us bargain hunters, we may be cheap but I suspect we are also pretty loyal. Is it wise to make us cross?

I gave up on them when I found out they give £15 vouchers to customers who haven't shopped with them for some time, but not to loyal customers. Rewards for not shopping with them and nothing for spenders, rather daft approach.
Their stuff is o middle of the oad now, with the exception of kids stuff. Last stuff I bought washed terribly and Boden is beginning to equal frumpy IMO...
