Bag for work

I need a new bag for work. Something stylish but sensible that preferably fit A4 papers in, an iPad, diary, and all my shit.

I have 84 bags (BF counted them) but none seem to work for work.

My usual day handbag is my Birkin but if I know it might get bashed about or something I transfer everything out and put it in my green bag from TKMaxx or if I need a smaller bag/outfit it all goes in anyone of my smaller bags.

But I need a specific bag for work. Not that bothered about colour but not luminous and will go with things.
Any ideas?

How about a mulberry bayswater? Sturdy and good size. Plus they're on sale at the moment Smile

84 bags and nothing suits?

No aftermay none of them work - some aren't tall enough, or too many pockets. I'm a tad fussy

Ohh mulberry that's alright and A4 would fit

madammecholet if I found the right bag well the budget would fit the bag (if the bag would last and all that) equally I do love a bargain

You're fussy? With 84 bags, who'd have guessed? :)

I use a Bayswater for work - suits me well.
How about Osprey? Agree worth looking at Coach too.

Can't see how mulberrys are tacky? British made leather handbags, without the designer logo plastered over it?

I'll swap you my bayswater for your birkin Grin

Sorry JMO but I think they look cheap with the huge tree and every woman and her dog have one ...

Bays would be too heavy for work - they're SO heavy even empty. Any of these suitable?

What about a Longchamps bag? Reasonably priced, sturdy and roomy Smile

The Aspinal and Hobbs bags are particularly lovely.

Someone linked to this about a week ago and I bought one, it's very roomy, might be too 'budget' for you though www.riverisland.com/women/bags--purses/shoulder-bags/Black-two-tone-zip-slouch-bag--635491

Longchamp is chic and stylish

Bayswaters dont have mulberry logo on them that is big enough to see unless you look really close. The Daria is the one with the somewhat blingy mulberry tree.plaque.
