Bikini hair removal

Can somebody please suggest a good waxing salon (which is nationwide) that actually removes sufficient amounts of hair and does it well to make the cost worthwhile? Also those people who may have had laser hair removal - did they do just do the very basic minimum or more? I don't want to pay tons of money for it and then have to embarrassingly have to ask whether they can actually do a decent job (I've been to salons and come away very disapppointed with a sticky hairy mess despite requesting removal of as much as possible and paying highest cost, but been to embarrassed to complain)

I cant suggest a chain but before you go, find out if they do hot wax or strip wax on the bikini area. If they say strip wax, find somewhere else...

I have a Hollywood done and only hot wax should be used, the strip wax is painful and harsh for the area. The hot wax is applied (my salon uses a chocolate one) and it dries then the whole lot is pulled, it is faar less painful.

You should never leave with a sticky hairy mess! I think you need to find another salon. Ask around in your area, its not always the big chains that are the best, I do to a lady who has a little salon in one room of her house and I wouldn't ever go anywhere else again.

I've had laser hair removal and it was useless - would strongly advise anyone against having it done.

I do my own hot wax, but would love to try a salon, just a bit too embarrassed!!! Do you ladies have most it off?

Charlie - you are brave Grin. I couldn't do it myself. Yes I have it all off, I suppose the first time is sort of embarrassing but the waxer has seen it all before I promise you...

Thanks for tip about hot wax, will bear that in mind. Any tips for making the pain a bit more bearable?
