Over here........... woo hoo!

MarshaBrady Fri 31-May-13 18:36:10

Lol Shop just tried to answer on the other one. Dress is gorgeous. And outfit sounds fab. I should tone down a bit really, find it hard to do half way between casual and dressy.

Looking forward to dressing up again for our next one!

shopafrolic Fri 31-May-13 18:38:30

I always end up toning down Marsha and then regretting it, probably why dresses and skirts get worn so little and hang unloved in my wardrobe. I'm determined to change that this year.
My friend came over earlier and I bought her a a little something to cheer her up. She loved it so that's put a smile on my face. Off to run bath for DS....

Oh Shop I love the Bella dress as you know. Love it, esp with the LKB shoes. Couldn't you just get some instant leg tint if no time to tan?
Marsha I love the blue shoes/ black dress combo but the red dress has got va va vroom too and it sounds as though your pins can do it beautifully.

Hello! Busy couple of weeks, sorry I haven't been around at all much.

Gorgeous bangle Shop, lucky friend to have you smile

shopafrolic Fri 31-May-13 18:40:34

Marsha have PM'd you
Waves to Hopefully did you see the yellow Floretes in the sale at LKB? Thought of you.....

MarshaBrady Fri 31-May-13 18:42:13

Thanks Dry I am tanned on the front of my legs only which is a great look. Will have to leave room walking backwards.. or very quickly.

Shop I say yes, love it.

In other news, I am wearing the infamous Zara skort today and DH commented how cool it was. Unheard of. He did also ask if I was actually wearing pants, but we'll gloss over that (I was, for the record!). I am liking it with really plain tops and flip flops (can't quite work it out with anything smarter).

LinusDKD Fri 31-May-13 18:42:34

Marsha both dresses are beautiful and the colour of those shoes is gorgeous. I would go for the black dress/blue shoes combo.

shop I also have these weird patches on my knees! I also spend half my days on my knees with the DC.

Lovely shoes on LK Bennett but the shoe boots I was lusting after are not reduced.

Hopefully Fri 31-May-13 18:42:37

I did shop but not in my size. Probably wouldn't have been able to resist otherwise.

shopafrolic Fri 31-May-13 18:44:25

I nearly bought the red Hopefully and then thankfully someone nabbed them before I hit buy.

scarf came from House of Fraser marsha it's white with DKNY printed multiple times over it in various shades of grey. I may go back to get one for my sister if they have any left

LinusDKD Fri 31-May-13 18:55:44

Just had a look at the red floretes and they still have my size <sits on hands and blocks out memorised cc details>

Hopefully Fri 31-May-13 19:00:27

I would have gone for the red if they were a bit brighter - they were quite a plain red in RL, and I fancied something statement-ey.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman Fri 31-May-13 19:17:53

Ooooh - Volume 12 already! Just dropping by because I've just discovered that Anne Taylor now deliver to the UK.

As you were.

Annianni Fri 31-May-13 19:43:00

Another vote for black dress and blue shoes Marsha.

Your outfit sounds lovely too Shop.

I'd love an evening out with dh.
The last time we went out together at night, I think I was pregnant. sad

Those Floretes are lovely.
I don't need any heels though.

I seem to have done quite well, with jeans buying.
The only ones that were over £100 were the Tilda's.
Which I've been living in, as I've put loads of weight on and everything else is a bit snug.

Must shred again...
And stop eating smarties...

shopafrolic Fri 31-May-13 20:23:11

Anni DH is staying home, this night is pure girls! It could be lethal..... Expect hungover posts on Sunday!

MrsRadicchio Fri 31-May-13 21:33:23

Hello all.

Being on a new thread yet again is going to test my memory!

Grumpy good shopping! I like the bangles, my initial is navy which I found a little dull actually - would prefer white. Liked Liberty's idea of choosing DC intials. My DCs' ones are pink and orange, quite cool.

Hopefully am impressed you can wear that skort, too directional for me! Think your way of wearing it sounds good, it seems like it would need to be dressed down and made casual to work.

Shop glad the trousers worked out. Crazy customs charges, didn't realise that at all. Having an american friend (with frequent trips to UK) would be useful. Have a good night tomorrow, and wear the dress!

I liked that Wang dress you linked yest and was considering it (don't need it though) but it was sold out when I went to look again.

Marsha I think I am in the red Halston dress corner. Think you could make it look less formal with flat sandals maybe...isn't weather supposed to be good tomorrow?

Nice shoes on LKB, hoped that the Caroline Issa colab would be on sale but not so.

Anni good jeans shopping! I have been stalking yoox but never seem to find similar bargains. How do you find returning stuff there? Is it expensive as they're based in Italy iirc.

Dry how nice that you met Susie So So - will you be featuring on her blog??

I am also queen of the !

What's wrong with !!!!!!!? I read a thread last week about MN "rules" and things that annoy people . A mine field.

foxysocks Fri 31-May-13 22:51:35

Is this acne-esque or I am drunk? I quite like the green

MarshaBrady Fri 31-May-13 22:53:41

Who ordered that! who has a good memory? And we all said acne. Didn't we?

MarshaBrady Fri 31-May-13 22:55:47

Thanks for outfit votes.

MrsR just as I read your post dh said it would be sunny tomorrow. iPhone weather forecast is improving, fab!

foxysocks Fri 31-May-13 22:55:54

Eh?! Was that before my time marsha? Was just browsing the preview and it jumpered out (ha! See what I did there?) at me. Can't afford the £200+ for acne, as much as I would like to splash out am now saving for India retreat.
