Beige or white bra??

Sixparrotspullingupcarrots · 26/05/2013 20:16

I've bought a lovely lilac lace dress for an upcoming wedding. At the back there is no lining so my bra is visible. I have a beige bra and a white one (not buying any more, still BF and boobs will shrink when I give up!). My skin is very pale so the beige is darker than my skin. So a white bra is better? What do you think?

If it's going to be seen I'd go for white (as long as it's not white-going-grey!)

Fake tan yourself?!

I'd think beige would be less noticeable than white

Beige is less noticeable that white.

I'd go beige as well.

Beige.
White can really really REALLY show up on a sunny day Blush

yy, beige. White will glow through, beige not.

Beige definitely. You might be able to get a special bra with 'invisible' straps... I hate them usually but if it's under lace it will genuinely be invisible and should look fine.

Could you put a vest top underneath?
With slits/holes for feeding through if required?

Ah, right. Hadn't understood we were talking about unlined lace - thought thin cotton. TBH it'd be best just to get in lined if you don't want to buy another bra.

ivory or light pink would be good - I know you said you're not buying another bra.. hmm..- otherwise the beige one you've got would be better than white or could you put a little vest thing underneath it?

Definitely not white.

Last time I was at Rigby & Peller, the assistant told me nobody wears white bras anymore!

She lied.

For a bra that will show through I'd go for as close to your skin tone as possible.

White- there's something about Borge bras I don't like.

Beige. But better to spend £5 and get a vest / camisole

I'd go for the nude bra. And a spray tan - might help to even out the colour gap? X

I've got one white bra, but I've realised that I never wear it after my white shirt died a death last year...

I have about 5 white bras. Would probably go for beige with your dress.
