Hi,

I'm looking for some comfy flat sandals for very wide feet. Any ideas as to what I should get? I'd prefer them to be black in colour.

Thanks for your help! Smile

Have you had a look at Hotter shoes?

I've got some from M&S last year, wide fit foot glove ones, they are lovely and comfy and wider than I need. Not sure what colours hey have this year.

If you have wide feet you could look at Evans, they are very wide but if you want something stroppy that wont dig into broad feet they might be worth a look.

I got some Birkenstocks from Amazon. The straps are adjustable which helps get a better fit :)

Clarks have wide fit sandals, I had to buy wide ones this week as my feet have swollen up in pregnancy. (I bought these, and they are so comfy: www.clarks.co.uk/p/20352938) They have loads of other styles in black though. I don't think you can beat Clarks purely on comfort!

BreasticlesNTesticles, how do the M&S ones feel around the front part of the feet? My feet are very wide!

greenshoes

Women's corporative, they will make them for you in any finish, leather or other, hundreds to choose from, any sole, they draw round your feet, (or you can do so and send it in on their special chart) they take measurements of every aspect of your foot,

and if you do ever manage to wear them out, they will resole them for you.

It will be the most comfortable pair of shoes you ever own and last for years.

Went into town today, and Birkenstocks look so uncomfy!!! Flip flops looked ok but are too pricey. The wide feet ones in M&S, the back straps hurt the back of my feet when walking, and Gabor too bit looked too stiff. So I'm back to square one now ... Any further ideas?

I have wide feet, too wide for Fit flos, and I don't like myself in Birkenstocks. I stand up for many hours for my job, and I have found Naot Ashley's to be really comfortable (read the reviews on Amazon). I have had them in black, now wearing the red, and had many, many compliments. I bought them from a shop in Guildford which is now closed down, not sure where to get them from in the UK now though.

ArcticRoll do you think the seasalt sandals stretch a bit? I've got a pair and they're a bit tight around the front if my foot. Wondering if they're going to improve!

Hush Puppies! Seem to come wide as standard and many of their styles are very soft leather. Brantano usually carry quite a good range.
