Ha ha... I knew that, thought it was common knowledge :o

Those Lanvin flats appeared yesterday Marsha but only small sizes unfortunately.

I had an AV tank and it lasted like eight washes before utterly disintegrating. I have refused to try anything else from there on principle!

In other news, I walked through topshop today and really liked a lot of their stuff. I should probably be growing out of topshop by now... (but look! A skirt with a motel on! And one with stars! And a purple dress!)

shopafrolic · 09/04/2013 21:03

Oh to have the body for that purple dress Hopefully

Hopefully I LOVE those topshop skirts! Totally fab!

Shop nice Gigis. Wish they were bigger, even better price than he ones I just bought in the US (I'm a UK 6, and had to buy a US 9/9.5).

I am SO on a spending ban after the US shopping spree (and yet am v v tempted by some Gap sale items...Gap)

Hello ladies! Nutty couple of days at work. Left the office at 9.30pm. Have read end of last thread though not looked at links.

Thanks again to QueenC for the warehouse link and thank goodness you got your things back Carrie!

I wore my tanzanite ring to work yesterday. I had a meeting with someone over from the US who was wearing similar ring with matching necklace and earrings and a tennis bracelet! She made me look dull!Grin I was also surprised she was travelling wearing that much bling Shock

Hello from Spain everyone .

Having a lovely time here, weather is fantastic and house and pool lovely. Quite eventful so far, we managed to flood the house, dd fell in the pool and I had to jump in and fish her out (not done my blue cashmere jumper any favours but priorities and all that Hmm). DS1 tripped up some stone steps and cut his lip open-all on day 1. This morning we awake to a text from our neighbour in London and someone has broken into our garden room, luckily not the house though. So we need to get the door/lock repaired somehow. None of this as traumatic as your handbag drama though Carrie, how horrific, but what a relief you got it back. I had a beautiful Tanner Krolle bag stolen years ago with loads of precious/important things in it and the memory is still horrible.

I am checking in regularly to keep up with you all, enjoying links when I can (data allowance permitting Wink) hopefully the rest of our week will be quieter Grin.

oof what a start to the hols sleep. well done for prioritising DD over cashmere, not sure i'd have done the same Wink

I am hungover to hell and browsing for trainers while i have a rare morning to myself. found some great ones which then went OOS over night dammit. that list was tres useful shop, thanks for writing it out for me.

one of my friends is applying for a job at NAP! am so bloody excited for her I may pop.

btw there are supergas in the asos sale for £27 and the rag and bone biker I bought has come back into stock on the outnet if anyone is interested...

Report
carrie74 · 10/04/2013 10:27

Ooh, Sleep, trust me that is WAY more traumatic. I feel a bit of a fraud actually. Although I was pissed off, I couldn't get too worked up - it was all just stuff and we're well insured. It would have been a PITA to replace, but not too traumatic (in fact my Anthony is pretty battered a bruised and maybe could have done with an update... Wink).

Foxy can't see it - has it gone back OOS already? The power of Mumsnet!

On another forum [gasps], this was linked, and I think they look like fabulous corporate work clothes if anyone interested. Not a name I knew, but I've been out of City life for quite a while now. Probs too corporate for me at the moment, but you never know what the future holds: The Fold

OMG sleep that's a heck of a start to the holiday.

Have just been doing returns for American Apparel order (I may have been slightly optimistic about the sizing). Love the colours available there! If anyone's had their colours done and looking for somewhere to get basics, I highly recommend.

hopefully I wear AA leggings for yoga and agree they are excellent. i have pairs that are five years old and still going strong although a bit faded. i wear and wash 5/6 sets of yoga clothes a week so they need to be built to last.
